Shelved

Hello, this is Scott again! A funny thing happened while Diana was recovering last week. She started watching USA’s Monk.  She has about 50 episodes to go, so you're stuck with me one more day. So let me tell you a story…
Once upon a time, I was a library page. And let me tell you something: IT WAS AMAZING. The smell of asbestos! The mold on the shelves! The old book smell! It was glorious. I have had many jobs in the past, and nothing beat that job. I wish everyone could know the thrill of trying to shelve an entire cart of books in less than a minute. And now you can!
I know what you're thinking…and yes, I’m absolutely serious (well minus the smell of asbestos, mold and old books).
Back in October, Diana and I started thinking about creating an iPod / iPhone game that let’s you shelve books. We found a relatively cheap developer to help us out (I have created apps before, but this one was slightly more advance), and last week it went live.

Shelved!
The games a bit geeky, but if you are the type of person that likes putting things in order (or are applying for a job as a library page), then you will enjoy this game. Actually if you are a nerd of any sort, you will enjoy this game.
The game is available for .99 cents on iPad and iPhone / iPod Touch
If you aren’t interested in getting your geek on (or if you can’t spare .99 cents), then make sure and enter Diana’s Kindle give away (Hint: tell her your favorite book is “Everybody Poops”—it won’t actually give you a better chance of winning, but it will make her see you as someone who may or may not read, and she hates being thrown off—I’m sure that counts for something?)
You can download the app here
